Now available in French, after an initial release in English, the book by Spanish tattoo artist Yori Moriarty pays tribute, as its name suggests, to the Japanese tattoo tradition. Based in Gijon, north Spain, Yori has long been a great lover of irezumi/horimono, which he chooses to share here. The book begins with a brief overview of the history of Japanese tattoo art and then analyses each subject (water, animals and mythological characters, flowers, etc.) with illustrations and descriptions.
